Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings and Payment

– All course fees are subject to change until payment has been received.
– All bookings are subject to availability.
– Customers remain responsible for payment of any outstanding balances.

2. Course Selection and Eligibility

– It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they have selected the correct course and meet any entry requirements before booking.
– Course information and requirements are available on our website. If you are unsure which course is suitable for you, please contact us before booking.
– Learners must provide accurate personal information and supporting documentation where required.

3. Refunds, Transfers and Course Credit

– Course fees are non-refundable.
– At our discretion, course fees may be transferred to an alternative course date or held as credit towards another Alpha Training Industries course.
– Course credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
– Learners who fail to attend a course without prior notice may forfeit their course fee and any entitlement to a transfer or credit.

4. Attendance and Conduct

– Full attendance is required for classroom-based courses.
– Learners arriving late or failing to attend may not be eligible for certification.
– Any learner displaying disruptive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be removed from the course.
– Learners removed due to misconduct will not be entitled to a refund or course credit.

5. Course Changes and Cancellation

– Alpha Training Industries reserves the right to change course dates, trainers, venues or delivery methods where necessary.
– Where possible, learners will be notified in advance of any changes.
– If Alpha Training Industries cancels a course, learners will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the course fee paid.

6. Certification

– Certificates will only be issued once all course requirements and awarding organisation requirements have been successfully completed.
– Replacement certificates and amendments may be subject to awarding organisation and administration charges payable by the learner.

7. Portfolio Qualifications and Resits

– Learners undertaking portfolio-based qualifications must submit work within agreed deadlines.
– Failure to meet deadlines may result in additional fees, delayed certification or the requirement to re-enrol.
– Resit fees for SIA qualification examinations are £50 per unit unless otherwise stated.

8. Limitation of Liability

– Alpha Training Industries’ liability in relation to any course booking shall be limited to the course fee paid by the learner.
